Is eating cough drops like candy bad!? It says eat 1 every 2 hours on directions, but i eat like 10 in 2 hours, because their good!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

The active ingredient in many cough drops is menthol or eucalyptus!. Those won't kill you but they will make your vomit smell better if you eat too many!.

It can be yes!. There is a small amount of medication in cough drops so it is possible to overdose!. More likely the drops will not work when you do have a cough because the germs will be used to the medication!. Instead of cough drops try vitamin C drops!. You can't OD on them and they taste better!. Plus when you have a cough you can treat it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
