Muslims w/ same situation??

Salaam aliakum,
i had the gastric bypass surgery 7 months ago. if any of you are in this situation... how do you deal w/ Ramadan??

i don't think it would be in the best interest of my health if i fast... it seems impossible to me.

any advice/suggestions on how to do it or IF i can do it would be helpful. My doctor already tells me that i can't for health reasons.

You should listen to your doctor, that's also what our religion says. You shouldn't force yourself to fast if you're sick, especially your stomach. That could even be a sin. Robbie is right. You can fast the missed days later when you recover. Also, if you can't fast at all, you can compensate the missed days as giving money to poor people. This is what our religion says.
