I am always tired?!

Question:

I am always tired?

I always seem to be tired & can't really concentrate. I don't suffer from insomnia or something. What can cause this tiredness? I'm only 22 years old, so it's not my age.

Answers:

I think you should make a doctor's appointment. There are many reasons you could be tired so you want to rule out any serious illness. Depression can also cause you to feel tired all the time and have a lack of concentration. Your doctor should be able to help determine this as well or will refer you to someone else if necessary.

Here is some 'non-professional' advice:
Make sure you are getting enough sleep and drinking a good amount of water.
Do not stay outside too long in the sun/heat--it can really take a lot out of you.
Eat healthy and get a moderate amount of excersice.
Take a multi-vitamin.
Mentally-if you have worries, talk to someone about them and then try to focus on the positive you have in your life.

I am guessing you probably cannot concentrate due to being so tired but make sure to tell your doc about your lack of concentration as well.

Hope you get to feeling better soon!!!
