I have yeast infections all the time?!

Question:

I have yeast infections all the time?

I feel like I probably have it constatly and just notice it when it's really bad. Ever since I was young I would use the creams and medicines but not for the recommended time, So I believe I'm probably immune to them. Do yeast infections cause any more serious problems other than itching and discomfort?

Answers:

Yes, you can get ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, and other types of cancers. Having a yeast infection is like not washing off when you come home from school or work, and all of the sweat that is down in the pubic area can get into your vagina, and cause these very serious problems. One infection is a disease called Pelvic Inflammotary Disease or PID. It's a disease that like a yeast infection is cause by bad bacteria, but is worse, because if left untreated can cause your fallopian tubes, ovaries, and cervix to stop working properly, and can cause infertility, which means you can't have any children. This disease can also cause death. I know all of this, not because I'm a doctor, but because I've experience this, and it is not a good feeling. So, always and forever, everyday, you need to wash up, day and night, unless for some reason you don't have running water in your house, then you should be able to do this. I am still suffering from the antibotics that I took for the PID, and this is no joke. And no one, (not even guys) are immune to yeast infections. So, please, please listen to me, and I hope that this helps you, and take care!
P.S. Also do a google.com search or a ask.com search, and type in yeast infections. You'll get all the information you need about this serious infection.
