the drug protonix has sulfa in it? I am deathly allergic and i saw a different doctor today than i usually do and she didnt even ask me if i was allergic to anything. when i was looking through it i saw the word sulfate in it so im a lil concerned. please help

Sulfates and sulphites are not chemically related to sulfonamides (sulfa drugs). Therefore, the protonix should be safe to take.
