Will it really make a difference?!

Question:

Will it really make a difference?

I just got a cpap machine today . I had my sleep study done on Monday and had 117 episoids in an hour period. I was awaken after one hour in put on a cpap and w/in 5 mins went back to sleep and into REM rebound for 4 hours. For those of you with sever apnea does the use of cpap really make that big of a difference in how you feel? and if so how long did it take and how did it make you feel better. Thanks

Answers:

My sister and friend has one. My sister has had hers now for about 3yrs. In fact last year she had to get surgery and when she was in the hospital, her husband had to go home and get it.

My friend got his last year. He said, it has really helped him. I had told him about my sister, so it gave it hope. I remember with him it was in the first week. He only believed it because of my sister.

Now my boyfriend's dad has apnea and doesn't his machine. I worry about him. He falls asleep all the time. But, I guess you can't tell him anything.

Give it a chance. It has really helped them. And my sister is the type to complain about things. And she doesn't complain about this!!!
