What should I tell my doctor (it's a little long, but please help)?

I'm having tests done for some bladder problems and I see my dr. again today. But suddenly yesterday I developed this pain in my left side that hurts when i take a deep breath. It feels like it may be related to my other problems, it still hurts and feels like it's spreading further through my abdomen. How shall I present this to my dr. in a way where she wont just blow it off OR want to like put me in the hospital?
