Exposed to burning creosote while pregnant...?!
Question: Exposed to burning creosote while pregnant!.!.!.!?
I am 5 months pregnant, and this weekend my father-in-law burned wood with creosote in the campfire!. My throat and my husband's throat is now very sore, and we are coughing!. Are there any precautions we should take!? Especially me being pregnant!? I had no idea what he was burning!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Creosote is very toxic,it's been known to cause the symptoms you are speaking of;also in the stomach!.Creosote is considered a possible cancer causing agent!.If you've been exposed to creosote more then this,it's best that you explain this with A doctor,especially if your pregnant!.Chances are if this your first time being exposed to it you shouldn't worry much!.Best of luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
