Question: My heart keeps skipping beats (literally)!?
I've had issues with my heartbeat for many years!. Sometimes it takes off racing all by itself, and sometimes it skips beats all together!. It can be very scary!.
I've seen a dr about this, and since my mother has the same issue, he shrugs it off as hereditary!. My grandma had heart beat issues as well, and she lived to be 98, so my dr said not to worry!. All the tests he's done show i'm very healthy, just have an irregular heartbeat!.
Call me crazy, but that sounds like a big deal to me!. Does anyone else have this issue!? Have you figured out what causes it!? Does it run in your family!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

From the info you've provided it sounds as if you may have some sort of conduction problem with your heart!. It may be nothing as you suggested!. If you've seen your doctor and there's no problem then don't worry!. People live with it!. As for the skipped beats they are called PVC's or PAC's!. Premature ventricular contractions or premature atrial contractions!. They happen when either the top (atria) or the bottom of the heart (ventricles) fire (electrical conduction of the heart muscle) before they're supposed to!. It can be a problem for some and others can live long healthy lives with it!. The skipped beats (PVC's, PAC's) can also be cause by stress, too much caffeine, and other things!. As long as your doctor doesn't see a problem I wouldn't worry!. My only question is did they do an EKG on you!? Check the link below!. It should have the info you need!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
I have the skip a beat issue!. It's so bad sometimes that it knocks the breath out of me!. I have tried explaining it to my mom, but she kind of shrugs it off!. So it obviously does not run in the family (to my knowledge)!. It does sound like a big deal, and it is very scary, but I don't think there is really anything to do about it unfortunately!. I have the racing issue, i can be sat one minute and all of a sudden my heart goes crazy thudding against my chest, yes its scary but i just breathe slowly and it calms its self down, it skips a beat and then continues naturally!. Am a healthy person myself, am not worried about it though!.

my heart did that last month well it was along time ago!.it would knock the breath out of me like i can't breath well shortness of breath and well my heart isnt really doing that anymore!.

Has your doctor ever tested you for allergies!? My wife had this problem and found it was caused a allergy!.
