Question: Can eating excess honey cause diabetes (just like sugar can)!?
Eating excess sugar is said to cause diabetes!. Can you have a similar problem if you eat too much honey, given its extra-sweet taste!? Just curious to know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My father always said that eating pancake syrup would cause "temporary diabetes"!. He ruined my relationship with syrup! I found that to be untrue - I tested my blood glucose level numerous times after a pancake breakfast and my glucose level never got above 85!. So, the moral of the story is - if you have a fully functioning pancreas, your body can process, store, and use sugar/honey/carbs etc properly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Eating sugar or honey DOESN'T cause diabetes, eating too much fat and gaining weight will aid your chance of getting diabetes!.

SUGAR is the whole reason people have diabetes!. I can't medically prove it (And you can't medically disproof it), but if you look at fact that early reported cases of DIABETES started when humans kept adding bunch of sugar to foods!.!.!.!. then you'll trace the pattern for yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
