What is neurological testing and what do they do?!

Question:

What is neurological testing and what do they do?

Answers:

They do a complete reflex testing, (kind of like when they hit your knee to see it jerk only they also test your elbows, feet, etc.), place you in front of a TV with goofy patterns going on (this is to see if they can induce a seizure), check your balance (stand on one foot with your eyes closed and your arms out stretched in front of you), test the strentgh of your muscles (grad their hand with you hand and tighten as hard as you can) watch you walk to see if you are "balanced," this kind of thing.
Nothing painful but it does take a few hours.
edit-you didn't say if this is a first exam or not. Yes you could have an eeg or cat scan if the above testing or what you're going in for warrant it.
