5 mth old heart disease?!
Question: 5 mth old heart disease!?
My baby has been sick with a resp virus and even tho she is better her heart rate is 214 bpm wen she is not well and her breathing is really bad to the point she needs oxygen!. Pls giv advice!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

When my baby girl had all this going on and each time she was hospitalized, at least 5 times a years for the first 4 years!. I would ask so many questions and keep notes in a note book!. Thats the time to inform your self on your little girls problems!.
AS said above NO ONE here should be giving you medical advice for her!.!.!.!. She is just to precious to make a mistake with!.

Ps it helps to keep copies of her medical, ambulance and hospital reports with you!.AND any tests that the doctor has ordered too

Is she getting breathing treatments (albuterol), they can increase the heart rate, and the oxygen will be weaned when she gets better!. Respiratory viruses usually last about a week or two!. Be patient, she will get better, and always ask your doctor, nurse and other health professionals questions if you do not understand what is going on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If she is at home with you and this is happening (heart rate and breathing), you need to call 911 immediately for a pediatric ambulance!.!.!. and I do mean NOW!. Get off the computer and call!.
