I had a random nose bleed in the middle of night, 2 questions?!

I had a random nose bleed in the middle of night, 2 questions?

1. Was it because of the moisture in the air? (too much, or too little?)
2. What can do to prevent it from happening?

it was a very minor nosbleed, I jyst HATE seeing my blood..

you fist need to ask yourself some questions
1. do you have nose bleeds often
2. (this is gross but) did you just cut the soft tissue when you picked you nose last
the humidity could contribute however if it was a serious nose bleed you need to fist consult your physition

the way to prevent any bleeding is RICE
Rest
Ice
Compression
Elevation
just keep your nose elevated block the nostril with tissue then tightly compress an ice pack to your nose. lie down and rest with your nose compresses for at least 10 minuts

to stop future nose bleeds, if its not common for you to have them, sleep with a humidifier or drape a towel over your head then pour boiling water in a bowl and breath in the steam
hot showeres are also a very good home remidy. just take a longer one than usuall

all in all i think you'll be just fine
