What is chronic disease?
heya, im Nelle and im 16 years old. i was talking to this guy and having a laugh then he said he had a chronic disease. i asked him what it was but he didnt no. could you please tell me what it is. im a bit worried and hoping its nothing bad!

there are two types of illness - chronic and acute -
acute hits suddenly for a short period of time, is treated then cured
unfortunately, chronic illnesses are long term lingering problems of varying seriousness - eg asthma tends to be chronic
flu is acute
you have not specified what the illness is, just that its a long term drawn out jobbie
