Help! Does this sound like Lung cancer?!

Question: Help! Does this sound like Lung cancer!?
My dad is 53-years-old and has been a smoker since he was a teen!. He is in poor health, very overweight, and does not have a balanced diet!. Smoking for him has been in the family, and he smokes about 50 per day, thats why i hear him coughing so much and occasionally wheezing!. He also seems to not feel hungry anymore when he comes home from work (i don't know if thats because he eats in the car home or he eats at work) and he never has breakfast!. I am seriously worried that he may have lung cancer, but i know that if i tell him that he'll just shrug it off!. He never goes to the dentist or the GP!. Do you think he has cancer!? And how can i convince him to get tested for cancer!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is impossible to tell wether he has lung cancer on not based on this information!. The best thing for you to do is look at the symptoms of lung cancer and check to see how it relates to your dad!. If he has some of the symptoms tell him about it in a educated way!. If he knows your worried enough to research lung cancer, he may do it for you!. Below is a website that has all the information you need!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have no clue if its cancer or not, but there obviously is something wrong going on there!. Tell him to go for you and your family!. That he should do it for you!. He is being selfish and hurting you by not taking care of himself!.
I lost a Uncle around a week ago-he refused to go to the doctor till it was too late!. I dont understand for the life of me why people are like that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are a good child to be worried about your father, but the reality is that he is the only one who can take care of his health!.

I also heard my father and mother coughing every morning when I was a child, they both smoked heavily!. My father died of a second heart attack 6 months after quitting smoking because of the first heart attack - caused by many years of cigarettes!.

My mother stopped smoking in her 60's because the doctor told her that cigarettes had damaged the blood vessels in her body and if she didn't stop smoking, she would have to have her leg amputated (she had already lost the feeling in her leg)!.

Could I do anything about it!? No!.

I have, however, never smoked a cigarette in my life and I'm now in my 50's!.

Sorry, but your Dad knows how dangerous cigarettes are, but sadly, it is an addiciton and only he can beat it!. Sorry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
