Ideas & advice please?!

Question:

Ideas & advice please?

Last year my husband had a stroke & thanks to paramedics who treated him within minutes of phoning an ambulance they averted what was the onset of a really bad stroke to one a little less severe. Now that he is up & about getting on with things he would like to do a sponsored event on behalf of the stroke assoc. & muscular dystrophy which my dad had.Does anyone have any ideas what he could do. I've talked him out of a wing walk coz he's terrified of heights, now he says he'd like to walk hadrians wall from one end to the other. perhaps a tad ambitious from my point of view ( he's 61) I would appreciate any advice or ideas. I hope that when I reach his age I have the same energy he seems to have .

Answers:

good on him.encourage him with the walk on Hadrians Wall
but go with him and make sure he does not overtax himself good to see hes not lying down to and accepting his health problem, best thing is to fight it ,and thats what he will be doing by walking Hadrians Wall good luck to him and best wishes.and take life easier, theres always tomorrow.ps im 60 with osteo-arthritis,angina,and hardened arteris, but do all i can myself,to prevent health from getting worse.
