I am being prescribed 250 mgs of Thyroxine daily and still struggling.

You must take this medication before you eat anything, first thing in the morning, with a glass of water.
This hormone does not work as well when you take it during the day, even with other medication. Try taking it on an empty stomach, with water.
Otherwise, go back to the doctor.
