What other reasoning is there besides cervical cancer?!
Question: What other reasoning is there besides cervical cancer!?
to receive a biopsy of the cervix!? what could they be checking for if not cervical cancer!? or is just cervical cancer they are looking for!? I guess I should have asked on the phone but the questions didn't occur to me until now!. thanks much!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, I had 3 abnormal pap smears and they did a "colposcopy" which is a biopsy of your cervix - they actually did 3 punches each of the 3 times!.
They are looking for cancer!.
Mine all came back fine - I probably had a bacterial infection or something!.
Take pads with you and have some tylenol before you go!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your Probably just freaking out over nothing!. Typically, yes, that is the kinda stuff they are checkn for but who really knows when it comes to doctors except for the doctor himself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
