My eye sight is failing and feel very depressed and don't know what to do.?

I went to the eye doctor yesterday and he said I have an eye disease that is taking my sight away! My husband David lost his sight in a FA-18 Hornet accident. The disease I have is about what seems to be about 12 letters long. It named is Retinitis Pigmatosa. I have triplets with twins on the way. How can I take care of My husband David and Our Precious Cargo with my sight. My husband David said we can have a nanny for the babies. Those were the last words I wanted to hear! I feel like worthless mother and wife. My kids won't understand David and my situation. I don't want to be a burden to my husband David and our babies. David has never been a burden to me. My fear is having to rely on other people. I would feel helpless. I feel I failed as a good Itialen wife and mother. We are raised to be married and take care of family. Last night I cried myself to sleep. My husband was already sound asleep. I need help from any nurse or doctor. I'm so scared what will happen to my family.

well I'm not a nurse or doctor but my wife lost most of her vision last year due to a blood clot that pressed on her optic nerves...so now she only has central vision and she has adjusted...it's not easy but you learn to cope..while you have your eyesight start looking into places to help you and your family, i know it's not what you want to do but you might have to...i think you can learn how to function without your eyesight but with little ones you need someone to help keep an eye on them to keep them out of trouble....hang in there and don't give up believe in your self and your family and things will work out
