my 3 year old son has autism, when he gets stressed he starts yawning ands crying saying he's tired. Today a nasty taxi driver went mad at him before he even stepped into the taxi - i went mad at the taxi driver anyway my son just dropped down and fell asleep, still 2 hours later he is sleeping, is there any kind of disorder that can cause this?

My daughter has autism and when she was younger (she is now 14) she would frequently "check out" of stressful situations by falling asleep. It's almost like it's too much for their brains to handle, so they just switch them off until life has calmed down a little and they can manage again.
Still, you would probably feel better if you had a medical professional check him out to rule out any more serious disorders like diabetes or narcolepsy or something like that.
