I believe that they are still in the development/testing phase and may not hit the open market for several years!. When they are finally released they will most likely only be available to terminal cancer patients, as they will not only help with pain but increase appetite!.
I find it very difficult to believe that any doctor would recommend 'getting your brother some pot', as he would be risking his licence by prescribing advice to do something illegal!.
