Also, the man is elderly, and feels very weakened. I know the signs don't look good, but I was hoping to get some outlooks. Thanks again. :)

It's not likely that he would have an operation for this. He might be a candidate for some other forms of treatment, however. Certain types of chemotherapy and certain specialized types of radiation treatment might have a place in the care of this sort of problem. It depends on the kind of cancer, where it started (in the brain or spread from some place else), his overall functional state, etc. He should be seeing a cancer specialist for this one (an oncologist who is a medical doctor specially trained to take care of cancer patients.)
