Strange welt like places on my back?
They are only on my upper back and are fairly large in size, almost like welts. They come and go for no apparent reason. I don't go out in the sun at all. Mainly I am indoors. (don't like the heat of the outdoors, lol) It doesn't really itch but it does hurt if I do scratch it. There is no excretions from it. Just odd shaped, red whelts. I have not changed soap, laundry detergent or anything of that nature. This has been going on , on and off for several months.
Anyone have any ideas of what it could be?
**I have seen a doctor for it, he didn't seem to know what it was either. He gave me an ointment for it but it keeps coming back.*

i don't know what oinment he gave you. but it sounds like you need to go to the drug store and ask for T4-L solution. and apply it in your case you would have to ask a really good friend to do that every day for 3 days. if it is not better go to a dr.
