Question: Lump on neck and groin!? Hodgkins!?
My friend is 22 years old and has a painless lump on the side of his neck for years!. He had been feeling ill recently and went to his GP!. His GP prescribed him with antibiotics but no luck!. he feels weak, tired, cold and ill most of the time!. He still has enough energy to go to work and has a normal appetite but still feels ill!. His gp found a small lump on his neck, one in his groin area and another on his lower abdomen!. I researched this and read that it could be Hodgkin's Disease!? Also read that it could be Glandular Fever!? Has anyone experienced anything similar or has any advice which will be helpful!.
His GP has sent him for a blood test but is really nervous for the results, is there any ppositivenews, could this be anything else apart from cancer!? Thanks for reading!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Slow down, let the doc's do their diagnostics!. It could be lymphoma, this can be Hodgkin's or none Hodgkin's!. They are similar but different, but you need to wait!. It is not the end of the world as treatments are available that work!. I'm 54 & have had none Hodgkin's since my middle 20s!. So calm down and hope for the best!. It is possible to live a very long time with this problem & still have good quality of life!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
My Dad had Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma, the first signs were lumps in his groin and neck, he was cold from what i remember, he was sent for a blood test within a few hours he was sent for and told he had NHL he was diagnosed treated with chemo and went into remission for 11 years just wasn't as lucky second time around, i hope things ago ok for your friend xWww@Answer-Health@Com
It could very well be,however ive got lumps on my neck and i was told they are glands thats nothing unusual but lumps down below isnt usual so good luck and i hope your friend is okWww@Answer-Health@Com
These lumps could also be Lipoma's, which are harmless!.
