Question: I'm on this really scary medicine called medrol dose pack and I have some questions!?
it is this 6 day regimen and you gradually decrease your dosage as the days go on!. I had inflammation in my shoulder that just wasnt getting better so my doctor prescribed this to me!. Well first I'm wondering if anyone has taken this and what their experience on this drug was like for them, Im also planning on trying to conceive in about four months and I was wondering will the aftermath of taking such a potent drug effect me or a future pregnancy!? Last night I had kinda a freaky experience, it was my first day on the medicine and I am so sensitive to meds to begin with!. I took all six pills like directed and I woke up abruptly in the middle of the night freaked out that I was going to die and I felt like I was going to be sick and really sweaty!. I was crying like crazy!.!.!.very scary! Anyone have any personal experience with this medication!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have taken this quite a number of times, and I am really glad that it exists, because it has been very helpful!. Your nausea sweat is not typical, but if you took it on an empty stomach, and coupled with your fear that it is a scary medicine (it really is not), you had a secondary panic reaction!. I would say that your reaction was triggered by your taking the medicine, but probably not caused by it!. I have had the same kind of reaction from motion sickness, and it passed and never recurs!.
Anyway, having taken the first dose, you need to finish the tapering doses or you will likely suffer a symptomatic rebound, which you don't need!.
Within two months your body will have no traces or any residual effects from the medicine, so don't worry about pregnancy in four months!. Just be sure you don't conceive this month!.
I hope this helps your shoulder!. I am sure that it will reduce the inflammation right now, but you do need to try figure out what your problem is in the joint!.
I would very much recommend a balanced nutritional supplement program including antioxidants, minerals and trace elements, vitamins, fiber and lipids!.

This medication will do that to you!. I take steroids for MS and sometimes they cause me to want to slit my throat!. It is a side effect and will go away!. Just be aware that you feel like you do because the med made you feel that way!. It isn't mental problem!. Take all the pills!. Don't stop before they are done or you will feel worse!. I've taken it before and this reaction never had that happen to me!. However the medicine you are talking about works wonders!. If it happens again, I would call your dr!.!. ,but continue taking it until it's finished the way you are supposed to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Medrol is the same steroid as prednisone!. I can take medrol but not prednisone, in makes me moody and mean!. I don't think it will make a difference in pregnancy though cause that will be 4 months down the road!. I have had the same things happen too!. BAD mood swings mostly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
