My best friend died?

My best friend died 2 years ago... I still miss her! How do I cope? She had Lupus and Leukemia!!!!But the Leukemia killed her not the lupus!!!! I miss her so much.

I'm sorry about your friend.I lost my daughter to a very aggressive leukemia 5 years ago,she was 16.What you must do is try to remember the good times you had together.Celebrate those times,listen to the music you both liked and other things like that,even if it makes you cry.At first I was appalled at my own reaction,to my daughters favorite things,it made me laugh at my memories. Then I became very sad and tearful,I felt horrible because I was laughing etc.. Your friend and my daughter,(perhaps they have met each other in heaven.)they wouldn't want us to live with all the pain and loss,and be miserable for the rest of our lives.All we can do is live with good memories,and honor them by being happy and get on with our own journey through life.Make a difference,and give to others.
