Answers:
The cold virus, assuming this was the original problem will be long gone by now, not that you could have done anything to treat it anyway!.

There are I suppose 2 possible causes of your symptoms, the first is that though the infection has gone, you have lost membrane stability in the respiratory mucosa of your upper airways, producing a post viral hyper-reactivity!. This is more common in the lower airways, where the equivalent effect would be to cause chronic cough!.

The other possibility is that your problem was always allergic, rather than infective and you are still being exposed to the allergen!.

The good news is that the same management would work for both problems, inhaled nasal steroids!. The mildest of these can be bought over the counter as Beconase!. Drugs like Nasonex are more effective, but are prescription only!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Honey in tea, hot wheat bags on the head, an extra cardigan, cotton wool in the ears, Vicks vapour rub or empty the entire contents on your herb garden (including an onion and clove of crushed garlic) into a boiled steaming bowl of water hold head over this and cover with a towel breath in vapours!.

And get some Homeopathic New Era tissue salts and take little and often!.

Virus's can take a while to shift, there is no way you can speed up the duration of the virus!. Just get plenty of rest, take paracetamol, push fluid intake and it will go!. If it lasts for more than 10 days it's likely not a cold!. Have you had an allergy to something!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you've had what appears to be a cold for longer than 7 to 10 days it probably isn't a cold!. Consult your health care provider!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A couple of dark rums and green ginger before bed will knock you out and you'll get a good nights sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
