Has anyone you went on a few dates with told you they had genital herpes...?

If so, what date number were you on, and how did you react?? Or...how would you react?

Just to let everyone know I do have it, and I would tell someone. I'm responsible, not some A hole trying to spread it around. I was just recently had it diagnosed, so new to the dating world now. Just wondering if anyone has shared experience. Thanks =)

Don't know if this helps, but here is what happened.
I would say more than a few dates....
We were friends and we always had a thing for each other.
He never got up the courage to ask me out and having Herpes I would never come onto him.
I was going through a rough time and one night I had a bunch of my friends over and I got totally trashed. I mean falling everwhere , emmotional wreck, laughing and telling all my problems (while laughing). My friend put me on the toilet to pee, took my pants off put me on the tiolet and I told him to turn around while I urinated...LMAO! I even went to wipe and fell off the tiolet in the tub...lol.. I told him how I felt about him as he was picking me up off the kitchen floor...lol... Not really the best time, plus I told him even though he was goofy looking I thought it was kinda cute...lol. Well, obviously, he felt the same way and seems how I was wasted it was so easy for him to make his move. Next thing I know we are making out hard core. All of the sudden I woke up in bed. Snuggled up with my best fried and I was like what happened? I got up and got in the shower and little pieces of the night kept coming back to me. All I could say is OMG! Well Thank God we didn't do more than make-out, but he kept coming around and taking me out. I was kinda hoping he didn't really like me so I wouldn't have to tell, but over time we grew so close and I had to tell him. I didn't mess around with him before, of course, when I told him he said," Oh, Thank God, I thought you were going to dump me or something". He laughed and I laughed then I started crying and it made him cry and he held me until I fell asleep. We are still together and we are going to get married.
