Obviously the risk here is that this could develop into a pulmonary embolism!. PE's are caused by a blood clot, typically in the leg, groin, or pelvic veins!.!. which can break free and travel to the lung arteries!. The only real way to out-rule a clot is to have a scan!. Many incorrect diagnosis of clots are made!. We can't offer a diagnosis here, your husband needs to see a Dr, having already had a DVT before, he's more at risk from having another!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your husband has had a DVT in the past, he should go to the emergency room asap! Usually clots present in the calf region of the leg, but they can be found anywhere in the body!. Is the groin area of his leg warmer to the touch than other parts of his leg!? As both you and him know, clots block off blood flow to other regions of the body, and if they travel they will go to his lungs!.!.!.!.!.HUGE danger here!. Tell him to stop being a pussy and go to the emergency room, NOW!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

A pulmonary embolism, a potentially fatal situation, can result should part of a blood clot break off and travel to his lungs!. This is a medical emergency!
