Question: Short of breath from my asthma!?
i have been sick for a week now!. taking prednisone,advair, antibiotic, and robitussin with codeine for night!. when i wake up in the morning i feel fine, but once i get up and move a little i cant catch my breath, i cant even go outside, or its so horrible!.!.i am feeling better but my asthma is really bothering me, the only relief i get is if i lay down and dont talk or move so much!.and stay in the air conditioned house really cold!.!.i just want to get that full breath, the dr did xray, no phenomonia, how long does this go on for, i have to go to work tomarrow already been out for the week because of my shortness of breath!.!.but if i am at home laying down in air condition i am ok as long as i take it easy!.!. help please any advise!.!. love to talk and that takes my breath away!.!.

I have been where you are friend!
You need to see your doctor or go to the ER asap!. When your medications don't work, it is time for more drastic treatment!. Asthma can be life threatening if not treated properly!.Sometimes, we asthmatics have to go to the hospital for a few days of IV and breathing treatments to get us over the hump!.
What ever you do, DON'T over use your medications, especially, your albuterol inhaler!. It can cause heart problems and horrible jitters!.

Two of my friends have found Australian Bush Flower Essences Emergency Essence to be helpful to them!. one with asthma and lung cancer (only one lung) and on oxygen and it was not helping but the use of the Emergency Essence was (7 drops in water bottle shake and sipped till she could breath again, usually a few minutes helped a lot)
The other friend was having an attack and tried his puffer a couple of times and was not working and in a few second (used the direct drops) and could breath to his surprise!!!
IT is NOT a drug :o))) So an added bonus!.
But do get the book as it has other essences to help asthma in general as well!. Mixes for infections and inflamations and such!.
Used it for my dogs for auto immune problem (hyper thyroid that vets said they can only control with hormon supplements for the rest of their life of cortisone/prednisone) yet my dog is fine after two months of treatment with the ABFE 2 years later!.
