When a person cant breath they cut their troat open and put a tube in there to help them breath because their throat is closing up or something!? What is that tube called what is the process called!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

the throat tube is called a tracheal tube the hole is called a stoma!. but first doctors use and endotracheal tube or ETT which is placed in the trachea from the mouth using a laryngoscope!.the laryngoscope has a light on it and is used to identify the vocal cords!. this process is called laryngoscopy!. the trach tube is used for patients who will be on a ventilator for extended periods of time!. the process of putting an ETT in is called intubation!. im sure this process is the one you are looking for!. any more questions just ask!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
