Question: Are antibiotic resistant UTI's becoming more prevalent!?
I've had 3 rounds of different antibiotics to treat a UTI that was diagnosed with a culture!. Seven weeks later I still have the same symptoms!. I've heard from friends of the same thing happening to them!. Have the bugs gotten smarter than us!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

no, the bugs have indeed gotten resistant however!. Mostly due to people not completing their antibiotics as ordered, they tend to stop taking them when they feel better, and think nothing of the fact that any remaining bacteria will then be resistant!. After three rounds of antibiotics, I would suggest you need to see a urologist to make sure there isn't a physical reason why you keep reinfecting!. And they can perhaps teach you how to avoid re-infecting if there is no physical cause!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
