Ritalin - what's the normal dose for ADHD?!


Question:

Ritalin - what's the normal dose for ADHD?

Anybody know the details - how much you usually start with, how much you can increase it to, etc, when you have ADHD?

I'm on Ritalin as a stimulant (it's scripped, I promise!) and I'm just wondering how much ADHD people can stand. Do you build up a tolerance to it, so later a larger dose isn't so extreme?
