Question: How can I tell if I'm allergic to dog saliva!?
I'm pretty sure I'm having an allergic reaction, but tell me what you think!.!.!.when my dog or any other dog licks me, there's a rash and little bumps where they licked and it's REALLY itchy!. what is it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yup, you most likely have an allergy to dog saliva since you have hives!. Try keeping some cortisone cream on hand to stop the itchiness, and if it gets really bad you can take a benadryl, but that will probably make you drowsy!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
well, considering all the crud that goes into a dog's mouth, it would be hard to say if it is the saliva, or what is in the saliva that is causing a reaction!. I would simply break your dog of the habit of licking you, ewww, and wash immediately if he should in the future!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It could be the saliva OR something the dog eats!. Maybe you are allergic to the gluten in the dog food!.
I would get an allergy test (simple skin test, no pain)
In the meantime, don't let the dog lick you (you shouldn't anyway)
and have some benadryl on hand in case it gets worse!

yea you are allergic - the same things happens to me!. I don't have a dog but when my daughter's dog licks me I have to wash where he licked and use benedryl creme or something!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
