Allergy question?!

Allergy question?

I think I'm allergic to cats. When I get around them my eyes get itchy and I usually get a cold sore in my mouth within a day. I can understand the itchy eyes, but I've never heard of people getting cold sores from an allergy. The only time I get them is when I'm around a cat! Any advice would be great, thank you!

I know I should stay away from cats, but I work in a vet's office and I love my job so it's impossible for me to stay away from all cats!

Try to get something from your doctor to see if it helps, my son is allergic to cats and he gets itchy eyes and cough and running nose and then his asthma kicks in. You could even try something OTC.
