It's not normal at any age to get dizzy and fall down!. With a BP of 40 you would not be able to stand up!. Tell your parents to take you to another Dr!. for a complete cardiac workup!. If everything checks out you would them need to see a neurologist!.!.With your family history I can't see why your Dr!. hasn't already done this!. It would be a good idea for you to purchase a BP cuff and check your BP, if you need help to use it you can email me and I'll tell you how to check your BP yourself, you might be anemic or dehydrated also, take care DonnaWww@Answer-Health@Com

I had similar symptoms, right around the same age as you, and it turned out that I have mitral valve prolapse!. It's no big deal, but it can be uncomfortable!. It's a valve in your heart not working quite right!. Don't freak out, research it and ask your doctor if that may be what's causing your problems!. I was diagnosed 16 years ago!. I took medicine for awhile to regulate my heart beat, and about 4 years later I quit due to pregnancy and haven't had any real problems with it since!. It may be something else completely, but you never know! Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You don't say how low!.!.!. a little low is ok, hypotensive is not!.

Low blood pressure can cause those symptoms, and it is NOT normal!.

Your doctor should be more concerned, and help you deal with the problem, either with diet, medication, or both!.

If your doctor refuses to take your problem seriously, see another doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

a lot of teens go thru this, and for the same reason, you guys simply do not drink enough water, nor do you get enough rest!. The body needs a MINIMUM of two liters of water every single day, so get a two liter bottle and fill it and drink it every day!. Also, make sure you get at least eight hours of sleep every night!. Make a habit of this and you will be healthier overall for the rest of your life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your doctor said it's normal, so don't fret!.
Your diet could be the cause of your symptoms!? Do you drink energy drinks or consume a lot of sugary stuff!? Both of these can cause your dizziness and run down feelings!. Do you eat a well balanced diet with protein!? Are you sleeping well!?

I hope your sister recovered okay!. That type of thing must have had your whole family upset!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I feel like that often, but don't think it's normal!.

If you've not told your parents, I suggest you do so!. Also, get a second opinion from another doctor!. And if you don't get enough rest/don't drink enough water, you might want to give both of those a shot as well!. Hope everything works out! =]Www@Answer-Health@Com
