Question: My scalp is itching but i have no lice!. What could it be!?

It sounds like the scalp is getting dry!. May I suggest you warm up some olive oil with maybe a few drops of peppermint or lavender essential oil, rub onto your scalp and the rest of your hair, put on a shower hat and you can leave it on for about an hour before you wash your hair!. Some people will wrap a head towel over the shower cap!.
This is a really nice deep treatment for your scalp as well as your hair!. I do this about once a week, twice a week during the cold months in Ohio!.

You either have dandruff or washing hair to much with a strong shampoo any of this Eczema, Psoriasis, don't use hair sprays this dries hair and wont let scalp breath it also contains alcohol this can build up and cause the scalp to itch as well as others before!.!. It sounds like it can be dry scalp!. Try a scalp treatment, what you want to do is buy a brush that has alot of bristles and want to section your hair and brush from the scalp down for a week our so!. This tends to help the problem!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Could very well be medication your are taking---dryness can be caused by diuretics and blood pressure medicines can be the cause of itching---other things causing your problems are nerves as a high strung individual!. or type A personality!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
