These numbers look pretty good!. Keep a close eye on the types of carbohydrates you are eating!. Simple carbohydrates such as white bread, starches, pastas, bagels, cereals, chips, sweets, crackers!.!.etc will raise you blood sugar instantly after ingesting a small amount!. A couple hours later, your blood sugar will be lower and you will feel tired - a direct result of eating simple carbs!. Try to eat a little bit of protein and complex carbs with each meal!. Lots of fiber, vegetables, beans, tofu can help to slowly introduce sugar into your blood stream and maintain a feeling of fullness for a longer time!. Looks like you're doing a good job!. Good luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

when women are pregnant and they are not diabetic there body naturally lowers their blood sugar levels, its better for the baby, when pregnant they like to see your sugars between 60-100 and usually under 120 after meals, since youre just gestastional they may have gave you up to 130, but they would probably like to see your fasting sugars a little lower, if you are staying in the range which it looks like you are then your baby is fine, the reason they are probably being so tough on you is because the further along you get in pregnancy the harder its going to be to sustain these numbers, by the end of a pregnancy a woman will be needing 3 to 4 times the insulin she normally would so in the case of gestational diabetes your pancreas cant always keep up with that high demand so it needs some help either with diet or sometimes insulin, if they are so close to the top of the range now then they will inevitably go higher, if you keep them towards the bottom of the range you have a better chance of not going to high when your body needs more and more insulin and you cant provide it!. i would not be worried about your baby at this point your sugars are fine, but try and get them a little lower if you can and if they go high at all seek medical advice, i cannot stress to you how bad high sugars are for the baby, take care and i wish you a healthy babyWww@Answer-Health@Com
