Answers:
You don't give your age, which in the case of Osgood Schlatter's is essential!. ( Congrats on the spelling by the way!)

This condition is purely one of childhood, ( Not old age!.) once the bones have fused and hardened the tibial table is no longer painful so your discomfort needs some other explanation!.

I wasn't aware that it ever went away to be honest!. I was diagnosed with it about 17 years ago and the only solution at the time was to put the whole leg in a cast to keep the knee immobilized while the swelling went down!. Well that is not exactly an appealing option for a 13 year old so I never got it done!.!.!.and I still have the swelling below my knee and the constant mild discomfort!.

If it can go away, then I would say that it most certainly can come back if you're vigorously exercising again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have it too, i got it when i was quite young and I'm 28 now and still have it, every now and then i get pains but nothing too major, i'm also female! if it worries you, you can always go to your doctor, just to put your mind at restWww@Answer-Health@Com
