Answers:
Your children are most likely perfectly safe!.

Your friend is most likely more than aware of transmission and should keep her personal hygiene items safely away from others (even though this kind of transmission is considered to be very low risk --- that's the reality folks!.!.!.!.anyone that says otherwise is misinformed!.

Feel free to speak with your friend about this (in private) and be sure that she is keeping her personal hygiene items safely tucked away from reach!.

Other than that, there is no risk of transmission to your children or yourself!. And even that risk is remote!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Children are unreliable not to touch a razor or use a toothbrush by accident!. Hep C is no laughing matter!. It is not found in body fluids but it is found in blood and since this is a woman, she gets her period once a month and bleeds, sometimes after using the bathroom a woman gets up and droplets of blood fall to floor, or coming out of the shower this happens!. Your kids are way too important for this!. Hep C is mostly contracted through sharing toothbrushes and razors, blood transfusions (rare now), tattoos, IV drug use, and blood to blood contact, sex rarely, mostly in anal sex where the delicate rectal tissues tear easily and blood is seen!. There is no cure for Hep C, and you have it for life in 95% of the cases!. It can lead to liver damage and eventually liver cancer!. It is very contagious when blood is present!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No way honey this is way too dangerous for the kids!. Toothbrushes, surfaces she has bled or sweated on!. This disease is insidious!. It is far more contagious than HIV and it lives on surfaces for up to 100 days!. Bleach does not kill it!. Neither does oxygen!.

Get her out!. Your kids are at risk every moment she is there!.

EDIT: Working with someone and sharing a home bathroom with them are two entritely different things!. You are talking about kids who cannot be relied upon to keep perfect hygiene at all times!. Who will have cuts and scarpes like all kids do where te Hep can get in!.

Get that woman out of your house!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would not worry!.!.!.you usually cannot get Hep C through casual contact (I worked with a woman who has it, and she and I shared food and drink sometimes, before she was diagnoses!.!.!.I am Hep C free)!.!.!.
Hep C is usually spread through sharing needles, tattoo parlors who do not use clean tools and blood transfusion!.

Generally safe!. Avoid sharing things like razors, toothbrushes, anything with body fluids!. Perhaps this person should look into having it treated!?!? We get a good cure rate, with treatment for this disease!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
