Sinus Infection?!

Sinus Infection?

Hi. I was just wondering if my symptoms are consistant with a sinus infection or if it's something else. I hate going to the Dr. so if I don't have to I'm not going to. Anyways, I have this really nasty taste in my mouth, and I can tell that my sinus passage is all plugged up and thats where it is coming from. There were also a couple mornings when I woke up with my eyes all crusty. I really don't have any other symptoms, but I cant seem to get the stuff out. Could it be a sinus infection (I'm thinking so because of the bad taste of it) or just allergies or something?

Just a side note - I've used nasal spray's and decongestants this week, and they do seem to clear my passage way, but not completely.

Yes, I does sound like one. You prob need to get a script for some antibiotics, believe me, it won't go away without them. I've been using the nasal sprays as well, temp. fix, I know. The tastes, yes, it's gross, that would be mucus, infected mucus. Tastes almost metallic? Go see your doctor & get a script. Good luck.
