What could cause a bad taste in throat accompanied by a stomachache?!
Question: What could cause a bad taste in throat accompanied by a stomachache!?
I have Cystic Fibrosis and am primarily affected by the digestive maladies of the disease!. This is kind of embarrassing, but it happens so infrequently, I would feel silly asking my doctor!. When my stomach hurts infrequently, sometimes accompanied by constipation, sometimes not, I get a very sour taste in the back of my throat when I do a kind of odd burp!. I am really just breathing in a burp, if that makes sense!. But it tastes bad, and is always accompanied by gas and stomach aches in the upper part of my abdomen, just below my ribcage!. It's not acidic or burning, like bile reflux, just very bad tasting and uncomfortable!.
Any ideas on what this could be!? I know it's not lactose intolerance, because I have been tested!. It's also not Celiac disease!.

i used to have a sulfer taste (like rotten eggs) in my mouth & when i would burp - i would get this ever once in a while - lasts a few weeks then stops!.!.!.!.!.
i would have nausea too with it
my doctor prescribed antacids - it helped - he said it was stomach acid causing the problem - although i had no heart burn

Whatever it might be maybe you should carry a good flavored antacid around with you like Tums or something!. Taste gone, stomache ache gone!.
