Eczema is a kicker!. Often times kids outgrow eczema, but alot don't!.

As you've noticed, your eczema flared up during an initial infection!.

Eczema is increasingly being flagged as an auto-immune disease!. So the best way to possibly conquer your eczema is to boost your immune system with a good multivitamin and mineral supplement, add to that a good omega 3 supplement and some probiotics!.

To control the dry skin, apply a tea tree oil enriched (at least 5%) moisturizing cream!.

Obviously you'll need to talk to your parents about this, but I've seen alot of success with boosting the immune system!.

Good luck,Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to go back to your dermatologist!. He prescribed something for you, and if it is not working, he can try a different medication!. If you do not tell him it's not working, he assumes it is!. Eczema is a tricky bugger and one person may respond to one thing and another may not!. Only about 1/3 of people with childhood eczema have it as adults, but that's of no help right now eh!? My hairdresser swears by slathering on crisco (yup, from the kitchen) after bathing!. Keeps the skin moist, Vaseline is good too, but at your age I can't imagine you would want to put that on your face as you head into those wonderful acne prone years!.
Remember, your chicken pox and eczema are 2 different things!. The pox will clear up on their own, but try oatmeal creams and baths to help with the itching!. Your mom may give you an antihistamine (like benedryl) at night to help decrease itching and help you sleep!.
Read the attached article, it may help point you in the right direction!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
