16 and a poor heart rate?!


Question: 16 and a poor heart rate!?
ok i'm and i walk like 2 miles+ a day!. and i exercise regularly yet still supposedly have a poor heart rate!. i jog 5k weekly (all continuous, and i'm not slow)

resting its like 126
after working it goes to like 180 (3 min steps)
i'm thin 5'8 around 110-115 and muscularly fit!.

so i don't get it why would i have a poor heart rate!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

you need to go to your general or family practice Dr!. and tell them all of this!. You may have mitral valve prolapse which is just annoying in most cases and not life threatening!. You also sound too thin!. 126 is too fast for a resting rate!. You need a check-up and probably medication!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Taylor is right!. If your resting heart rate is 126, you should make sure all is okay with your doctor!. That's fast!.

P!.S!. If you drink caffeine drinks, make sure you take your heart rate either before the drink or about 2 hours afterwards (even after an hour studies have shown significant increases in heart rate following caffeine ingestion - to make sure, I would take it 2 hours after but that's my $0!.02 worth)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You don't have a poor heart rate!.

You have a fast heart rate!. EXTREMELY fast!.

Was the resting heart rate of 126 taken after exercising!?

Take your heart rate/pulse after about 30 minutes of just sitting or laying down!. If it is between 60-105, your fine!.

have you went to the doctor for it yet!? i have the same problem, my average heart rate is about 140 and after working its like 200, do you get dizzy ever!? if i were you id go to the doctor, i take medication and now my heart rate is down to 90's Www@Answer-Health@Com
