I have this burning feeling in my stomach, but it's not heartburn - im taking meds for that - any ideas?

It could be from the meds you're taking. Sometimes, when starting a new medication for stomach ailments, you can experience burning, pain, diarrhea, and other ailments. These usually pass after a short period of use. The other problem, though, is that you may need a different medication for your heartburn. If you're only taking something like Pepcid or Zantac, you may need a different, stronger kind of medication, such as Protonix, Nexium, or Aciphex, to name a few.
