Question about cold sores?

so it seems that my husband and I and our almost one year old daughter all have the beginnings of a cold sore..what can i do to treat it? and should i be worried that my daughter has one at such a young age?

80% of the population have had or will have a cold sore. Refrain from letting your 1 year old from kissing anyone on the lips. I know that grandma's and grandpa's love kissing their little angels, but just say that baby has a boo-boo.

As far as treating it. There are lots of over the counter medicines...however, I would take your child to the peditrian (sp) so that he/she can give your daughter some topical.
