Would bar soap work for acne, i tried it today?!

Question: Would bar soap work for acne, i tried it today!?
Answers:
I t depends on the reasons you suffer acne and the type of soap used!.
If you have oil plugs clogging your pores, then sometimes a mild soap like Dove or Ivory can be effective in keeping the pores free from the natural oils they secrete and everyday dirt from around you that causes pores to clog!.
I use to have some success when I used soap that had oatmal in it as it was gentle on the skin and scrubbed it without being abrasive!. Many soaps are perfumed today and believe it or not, up tp 50% of these perfumes and fragrances can cause skin reactions!.
Simply washing with soap obviously helps to keep your skin clean and therefore will help to some degree with preventing acne and even help heal it some!.
But if you have severe acne you'll likely need different rememdies to control it and heal it!.
I would seek th opinion of a dermatologist before setting up your own regimen of skin care, yetthere is a lot of good information available on the interne to help someone with your problem!.
Watch out for things that cost a lot of money as they often do notwork well and even make the skin worse!.
Look for simple, home style remedies such as the oatmeal soap idea!. Things like skin cleanser can be helpful but if they contain alcohol, can further dry out the skin after their initial usage!.
So my best suggestion is to seek out the mildest form of tratment for your skin and stick with it!. Be patient and don't keep changing products as this can be harmful to the skin!.
Also, find a good shampoo that does not leave you with sebaceous cysts or pimples on the scalp because if it is causing this on your scalp then the shampoo running down on your face can alter skin properties!. Keep your shampoo in your hair only and rinse it well!. That's a point doctors often fail to tell acne sufferers about!.
Finally, if it is severe acne and causs you a lot of psychological grief then see your doctor as soon as possible!. It might be that you just have to be patient and outgrow the condition!.
