How do you cure mosquito bites?!

Question:

How do you cure mosquito bites?

I think i'm allergic or something. whenever a mosquito bites me, the place where i got bit gets big, swollen, and hot. does anyone else get this? what are some ways that people care for mosquito bites?

Answers:

There is no "cure" for mosquito bites. When a mosquito bites you, it releases saliva into the bite and that is what you are allergic to. I don't think I have ever met someone who was not allergic in some way, you might be more sensitive to the bite which is why it swells up and itches so much. I would suggest taking Benedryl to relieve some of the swelling if you have a lot of bites. There is also Benedryl creme if you only have one or two bites. As always prevention is the best defense so stock up on Deep Woods Off whenever you are going to be outside.
