You haven't given enough info to answer your question, ie: is she a pensioner, does she have any insurance coverage, is she on social assistance!. Who would she be looking to for her coverage!?!? If it were a division such as social services in Canada!.!.!.!.it would be a program called AISH "assured income for severely handicapped" and for that, she'd pick up a form from the social services office, take it to her doctor to complete, the doctor would copy the appropriate forms and she would pick up the completed info and take it to the Dept of Social Services (in Canada)!. Then, a board would review her case and give her their decision as to whether or not they would give her a monthly income cheque!. This generally takes 2 - 3 months for the severly handicapped in Canada!. This is a program for all Canadians regardless of income or coverage!. She might get denied several times before actually getting it!. She just has to be diligent in reapplying and going in to the office with statements from doctors saying it is detrimental to her health to work, and she should get it within 6 months!. Hopefully much sooner!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
