Question: HPV Vaccination; Help!!?
I really want to get the HPV vaccination!. However, I am sexually active but my mom doesn't know!. So if i get it, do the doctors do any tests or have any ways to know that i have been sexually active!? Because my mom REALLY can't know!. I know you guys are going to lecture me on honesty with my mom & her understanding, but trust me, i know my mother & she would definitely NOT be understanding!. She's chinese, & everyone knows what they say about asian parents!.!.!.
So i just want straightforward answers!.

There is no way of telling you're sexually active, but you do have to make sure of one thing - that you aren't pregnant!. If you're on birth control or otherwise certain of this, it's safe!. There's no test whatsoever to determine if you're sexually active, well, presuming you aren't pregnant and don't have a herpes rash or something!.
Moreover, if you're over the age of 16, you're entitled to confidential health care!. Anything you say to your doctor in private he -cannot- repeat to anyone else (bar, you know, hospital/clinical internal business and such) which means your mother!. It's against the law!. As an undergraduate I went to school that had a large asian student body, and it's a cultural thing, I know how it is!.
This is a very safe vaccine, however it's still rather expensive!. It protects against an infection that kills literally thousands of young women every year!. There's been an enormous amount of propaganda levied against it by right wing, christian affiliated lobbyist groups through egregious misuse and borderline libelous press releases and fear mongering!. Remember, these people have a vested interest in impressing cultural values about sex on you, not an interest in your health!. They won't need to know if you're sexually active!. I know, I got vaccinated and they didn't ask me!. However, if they do, they have A privacy policy and they can make your mom leave the room for answering private questions, such as asking if you're sexually active!.

You really should get the vaccine as it protects against some types of hpv including the ones that cause cervical cancer they can do a papsmear to check if you have any stds or hiv and they will know if you are sexually active but they can't tell your mom unless you want them to because we have confidential conversations with those doctors so your mom wouldn't know just tell the doctor not to tell Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can get a shot without the doctor looking at your vagina!. My doctor told me that the HPV shot works better the younger you are!. Tell your mom that your friends are getting it and you think you should too!. Even if you are careful, you have no idea what your partner is doing!.
